About Treasure Chest FM

Treasure Chest FM was launched in March 2022 as a means of providing a radio home for all kinds of music for all music fans out there.  Choosing not to focus on a chart or a set of core artists, the station instead seeks to bring a diverse sound to the table from a diverse range of voices.  This is also reflected in the station's slate of syndicated shows, many of which are produced in the United Kingdom but feature a diverse selection of music that is sure to appease the taste of any listener born in any decade.

On a typical day, you'll hear songs from 1990 to the present day most frequently, but can also check out songs from before 1990 several times an hour.  In addition, the station also broadcasts "Treasure Chest Overnights" from 12-5am Central Time each day, featuring only calm tunes meant to make the station listenable at night.  This is doubled on weekends with "Sleep In Weekends" which runs to 10am Central Time.

Come see how there's something for everyone at Treasure Chest FM!

About the Program Director

Rollie Dethloff (DJ Rollie D) was born in Eveleth, MN in September 1997.  Legend has it he hasn't been able to stop talking since!  After listening to the local radio stations for many years, Rollie decided he wanted to pursue radio as a full time career, and that led him to multiple volunteering roles over the years, including announcing starting lineups for most high school sports, a stint on KAXE/KBXE out of Grand Rapids and Bemidji, MN (a role he still continues in today), and serving as the host of "Untitled" on KRFF in Fargo, ND for four years.  During these adventures, Rollie discovered a lot of great music digging in CD libraries and streaming curated playlists in his car.  He now brings his personal favorites to you on Treasure Chest FM!

Rollie's current full time role involves hosting a morning show on WEVE-FM out of Hibbing, MN and hosting evenings on WUSZ-FM (99.9 Radio USA).  He is thankful to be able to do radio full time, and is consistently able to meet new people around the listening area.

When not in front of a microphone or computer, you can find Rollie making music, taking in nature, trying to learn new craftsman skills, or trying to make the ethnic dishes he found in Fargo at home.
